The new Mrs. Jim Rajchel and my Chloé Mae Nowak

Second Lietuentent James Rajchel and Erica Persels exchanged vows at the United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine, Kansas on January 17 at 4:00 p.m. Jim and Erica had met while attending Pittsburg State University. I was given a lot of insight on both Jim and Erica over the course of the weekend from all the stories that family and attendants had to share.

Erica, being one of my former students at Belle Plaine, had taken my graphic design courses, and served as a member of the Yearbook staff before going on to Pitt State.

Rajchel wedding was a beautiful event, with almost all family and friends in attendance. Mrs. Persels had worked hard to make it such a special weekend for Erica, and a wedding that most would not forget. Great Food, Fun, Friends & Family.

My precious Chloé Mae was also a part of this special event, serving as their flower girl. Chloe was born, Erica's Senior year. Chloe also celebrated her 5th birthday on January 17, and Jim and Erica still made sure it was special for her too. They made her a birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday" at the reception held at the Wichita Airport Hilton.
